No need to write much about the best news of today: namely that several movies dealing with J. R. R. Tolkien's THE HOBBIT will be produced with Peter Jackson at the helm. After its disastrous experience with THE GOLDEN COMPASS, New LIne has patched up its dispute with Peter Jackson, seen the light, and realized that good books really ought to be made into movies.
